Passamaquoddy-Tufts Partnership  

Our Mission

The overarching goal of the Tufts-Passamaquoddy Partnership is to establish a long term relationship with the Pleasant Point Reserveration that helps address the needs of the tribe and the students on the reservation. In collaboration with the Beatrice Rafferty Elementary School (BRS) we will be mentoring students who are interested in a medical profession, and hosting students here at the medical school to further increase interest. Beyond the immediate mentorship, we also aim to provide resources to educate others about the history, obstacles present, and current needs of Native American healthcare and relations.
