IDEAS in Medicine is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) after-school program for middle school students in Chelsea. Members of the group travel to Chelsea nearly every Friday early afternoon to engage with the middle schoolers there. We actively work with them to promote engagement in learning and, specifically, an interest in the sciences. The overarching goal is to support the students with an aim to establish the foundation of what we hope to become an interest in higher education, with a focus on science.
