For excellent viewing capabilities, our supplier offers lighting for sight glasses and explosion proof light fixtures to enable viewing within a process vessel in non-hazardous or hazardous conditions. Providing both lighting and viewing abilities, our all-in-one sight glasses require only one port into the system. Explosion-proof light fixtures provide high-intensity lighting through halogen lamps for glare-free and bright illumination.

HI-LED lighting can be specified as a nonhazardous or explosion proof light fixture.

Explosion Proof Halogen Hazardous Location Lights

A compact, explosion-proof light UL-844 & C-UL/CSA C22.2 listed to provide lighting and viewing through a single sight port.

Explosion-proof, UL-844 and C-UL/CSA C22.2 No. 137 listed, electric lighting fixtures are used in hazardous (classified) locations. Lights for single port viewing have been designed to meet the needs of our customers who require lighting and viewing through a single sight glass.

Series SLEX-100 and REX-100 use a high intensity halogen lamp to provide bright, glare-free illumination of the interior of vessels, tanks, hoppers, silos, mixers, and other normally closed containers in hazardous locations requiring explosion-proof equipment.

NON-Hazardous Location Mini Sight Lights

The UL-1571 Listed Series MSL-HI-LED utilizes the most advanced high intensity LED technology available. The Series MSL-HI-LED "Light Engine" was developed specifically designed to offer the same brilliant illumination as a 100 watt Halogen Lamp and it is not a simple off the counter LED lamp. The MSL-HI-LED Series also features a heavy wall T304 SST housing and gasketed joints - making the MSL-HI-LED the brightest, longest lasting, heavy duty, corrosion resistant UL Listed light Fixture we ever offered. 110/120 V input voltage.

The UL-1571 Listed Series MSL-100 mini sight light provides high intensity illumination for sight glasses and sight flow indicators. Manufactured in the USA from stainless steel and with gasketed joints, these fixtures are ideally suited for corrosive environments and sanitary applications found in the dairy, food, and pharmaceutical industries. Rated for 120 volts and 100 watts makes wiring simple and straightforward. Fixture is optionally available rated for 24 volts and 20, 50, or 100 watts.

The UL-1571 Listed Series PL lighting units are mounted on the upper flange of our circular sight glasses. Combined, they offer glare-free illumination of the interior of vessels, tanks, hoppers, silos, mixers, and other normally enclosed containers in non-hazardous locations. The Series PL lighting units can also be mounted on existing sight glass installations having the same viewing diameter.

The Series SLEX-100/NW eliminates the expense of an additional port and the expense to install it. The explosion-proof UL-844 & C-UL/CSA C22.2 No. 137 listed SLEX-100 lighting units and the corresponding Series NW sight glass provide glare-free illumination precisely where you want it - at the viewing port.

The Series REX-100/NW eliminates the expense of an additional port and the expense to install it. The explosion-proof UL-844 and C-UL/CSA C22.2 No. 137 listed Series REX- 100 units and the corresponding Series NW Sight Glass provide glare-free illumination precisely where you want it - at the viewing port.

Intrinsically Safe Lighting

Fiberlux Series of Light/Sight glasses and Lightports incorporates fiber optic technology to provide intrinsically safe illumination in hazardous classified locations. With the light source positioned outside the hazardous area, light is piped to the sight glass through a Factory Mutual Approved intrinsically safe fiber optic cable.

Sanitary Sight & Light Glasses

The SLEX/SVTC and REX/SVTC series Sanitary Explosion Proof HI-Led light glasses an industry leading Explosion Proof light fitted with an integral clamp type sanitary sight glass. The lens of the sight glass is an integral part of the unit, not a loose part. The standard unit is suitable for 150PSIG and full vacuum with a maximum temperature limit 500°F.  Higher temperature and pressure ratings are available.
