Funerals

When we lose a loved one or a community member it is never an easy time in our lives. It is an important time to have rituals and ceremonies that will help us in our grieving process.

Our clergy are able to walk with you during this difficult time, from providing end-of-life Ceremony and support to funeral leadership.

Our Clergy have been involved in planning and participating in a number of public vigils for both individuals as well as communities that have experienced tragic events. In these cases we are also available to facilitate healing sharing circles.

Whether you are planning a service at a funeral home, in the community, or graveside, we are able to help make this experience easier for you and help you to say "goodbye" and send your loved ones into the Spirit World in a good way.

Please contact our clergy to arrange support and services.

Funerals During COVID-19

The ways in which we are able to provide end-of-life care as well as funerals in the midst of COVID-19 are constantly changing and evolving.

At Toronto Urban Native Ministry we are committed to walking with you in this time of grief in any way possible.

We are able to provide support to communities, families, and individuals who are dealing with the loss of loved ones. We are also able to provide rituals such as funerals, memorials, last rites, and Ceremony with the use of technology such as phone and Zoom and in person when government restrictions allow.

If you are in need of support, please contact us and we will work together to find the best way to support you during this time of great loss.

Our collective hearts are breaking for the pain and suffering the world is experiencing and we will do anything we can do be of assistance to you and your family.
