The United Church of Canada/L'Église Unie du Canada

A church with a rich, progressive, and continuing history of welcoming all in the name of Christ.

All Native Circle Conference of The United Church of Canada

All Native Circle Conference (ANCC) was a conference of the United Church of Canada and was based on different Aboriginal cultural ways of life and languages. Understanding and honouring the cultural values, mission and ministry of Native Peoples was at the heart of the conference.

All Native Circle Conference came into being in 1988 and consisted of four presbyteries, 36 pastoral charges, 34 preaching points in First Nations communities, and two outreach ministries in major urban centres including Toronto Urban Native Ministry. When the United Church of Canada restructured as of January 2019, All Native Circle Conference ceased to exist. The Indigenous Church is still in the process of discerning where it will fit within the new structure.
