Current information collecting techniques could impact the expression of man's natural rights in any particular country - by extension - modern society. That is (hopefully) an eye-catching and perhaps provocative assertion. In any case, it's a large issue in a field of many important 'smaller' issues relating to technical privacy, from voting machines to protecting children from predators. These topics are important and tend to be - like Alexander's threads - connected and will be the suject matter of the rest of the site. But for now, having presented the topic of internet privacy and its impact on the nature of personhood and freedom - this page continues in that vein, presenting various views on Digital Authoritarianism. People and approaches presented in these videos are varied - too many to categorize (unless 'boring' is the category). The threads connecting issues begin to show and if efforts to jam them into convenient liberal/conservative models begins to unravel... then good.
