Leadership

Leadership in a troop is provided by both adults and youth. Since scouting is youth-led program, the youth leadership team is responsible for planning and conducting unit activities. The adult leaders assist the scouts in running their program.

The youth leadership team is known as the Patrol Leaders Council and is often referred to as the "Green Bar". These leaders meet frequently to perform both long and short term planning under the guidance of the Scoutmaster.
