Key features

• The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is a well-established Plus 2 programme centred around international-mindedness. 

• The Diploma Programme (DP) curriculum is made up of six subject groups and the DP Core, comprising Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) and the Extended Essay. 

• The Diploma Programme is a two-year course with examinations at the end of Grade 12 (May 2027) and results released in July.

• To complete the Diploma, students will need to choose six subjects – three at Higher Level (HL) and three at Standard Level (SL). These are marked on a 1 to 7 scale (7 being the highest grade); together, TOK and the Extended Essay can contribute another 3 points. 

• A student needs to achieve a total of at least 24 points to be awarded the full Diploma.

When looking at the subjects offered below, you should note that a student needs to choose six subjects, one from 

• Group 1 Studies in Language and Literature, 

• Group 2 Language Acquisition, 

• Group 3 Individuals and Societies, 

• Group 4 Sciences, 

• Group 5 Mathematics. 

• The sixth subject can be from Group 6 (the School offers Visual Arts and Dance), 

• or a student may choose to take a second subject from either Group 3 or Group 4. 

• It is possible to request to study three Science subjects.
