INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMME
Key features
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is a well-established Plus 2 programme centred around international-mindedness.
The Diploma Programme (DP) curriculum is made up of six subject groups and the DP Core, comprising Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) and the Extended Essay.
The Diploma Programme is a two-year course with examinations at the end of Grade 12 (May 2027) and results released in July.
To complete the Diploma, students will need to choose six subjects – three at Higher Level (HL) and three at Standard Level (SL). These are marked on a 1 to 7 scale (7 being the highest grade); together, TOK and the Extended Essay can contribute another 3 points.
A student needs to achieve a total of at least 24 points to be awarded the full Diploma.
