Key Stage 2 pupils lunchtime 12:15 pm – 1:00 pm.
The school gates are opened at 8:50 am with members of staff on gate duty.
Any pupil arriving on a cycle or scooter MUST be wearing a safety helmet and arrive by 8.55 am. They need to dismount outside school and then wait to be called to push their bike into school. This is to ensure pedestrian safety.
At the end of school, all pupils will be walked out to the main entrance by a member of staff.
Foundation Phase pupils MUST be collected by an adult.
KS2 pupils are only allowed to walk home unaccompanied if the relevant paperwork has been submitted to the school. Once pupils leave the site they are parents responsibility but we do expect them to behave in an acceptable manner whilst walking home. If there are any anti-social incidents whilst walking home you will be asked to collect and accompany your child home daily.
Nursery children can be collected from the school gate at 11:15 am
If normal arrangements have to be altered (e.g. you are delayed, or someone else will be collecting your child) it is imperative that you let us know, this avoids any confusion or upset for the children and embarrassment for the adult collecting. Due to safeguarding rules, we will not release your child unless we have direct permission from you as the parent.
To get to and from school, walking is definitely the best option! There are lots of benefits: it is healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road users, and it respects nearby residents and parking regulations.
Alternatively, we have bike racks and scooter pods. If you do need to travel by car, please park wisely and think safety at all times. Please refrain from parking on the pavements next to the school to keep pupils safe.
Please ensure your child is wearing a seat belt at all times which is a legal requirement.
Breakfast Club is open from 8:15 am to 8:40 am for Reception to Year 6-aged pupils.
Pupils should be brought to the main school reception for Breakfast Club where they will be met by a member of Breakfast Club staff and signed in.
Pupils who arrive after 8:40 am will not be able to have breakfast.
If you would like your child to be enrolled in Breakfast Club, please collect a form from the main school reception and we will contact you once it has been approved. If your child has any additional health needs a meeting with catering will need to take place before your child is safely accepted into the Breakfast Club.
