Welcome to my island, newcomer. In order to stay, you must follow these easy rules I have placed for you.
Be respectful. Keep any rude remarks, gossip about others, harassment, and more out of this group. If you are caught being disrespectful you will be quickly warned and if it continues it will only go to one strike before a ban. This WILL NOT be tolerated.
Respect the admins. They have the final say, and as this is a new and ever-changing group, rules will be expected to be added onto with time. However, feel free to reach out to a different admin if you feel you've been wronged.
Do not spam! Keep content on topic.
This group is rated PG-13, containing content not suitable for all audiences.
You are allowed to curse, but please do not curse excessively or use derogatory slang. This applies to role-plays as well.
Rated R/Adult Content is prohibited in this group; Backstories/Role-plays/Plots with extremely sensitive subjects (such as rape, pedophilia, etc.) are to be kept COMPLETELY OUT!
Artwork/Literature featuring graphic violence are required to have a mature filter on them.
Creativity is encouraged! However, please be sure you are not spamming the Discord server with a bunch of off-topic art. Veteran members will usually be fine doing this as we get to know you. Those who have not joined, and are simply using our Discord as a way to advertise themselves or their art will be asked to keep the art they post related to the group.
Tracing artwork is an automatic strike!
Shape-tracing is permitted BUT can only be used as a reference.
Referencing a photograph is permitted as long as you link the original photograph.
Referencing another artist or artwork is prohibited.
Bases are not allowed to be used on the application sheet.
Bases may be used for adoptables, but only the adoptable BP reward will be given in regards to BP rewards.
This is a literate, descriptive roleplay group, meaning you should attempt to roleplay in a book-like fashion, and in third-person:
Ex. Randomwhisker grumbled bitterly, diverting his gaze away from his clanmate with his snout wrinkled, "I don't want to go patrolling," he muttered, knowing well that his indignant attitude wasn't going to keep him from the task placed upon him.
Be sure to distinguish between a character's thoughts from their verbal interactions. If they are thinking, please use italics or apostrophes ('thought') rather than quotation marks ("sentence").
Try to role-play at a similar length to your role-play partner and give them material to work with.
Dangerous animals, loners, and opposite Clan/Tribe dogs never just wander into camp. Only if an event is scheduled by an admin will a catastrophe suddenly happen in camp. This also means pups never make it out of camp because each group has a guard position. Please ask if it is okay before you have your pup character escape the camp in a backstory or roleplay, and realize that our answer may be no if it would not be appropriate.
Your character cannot be aware of everything about another person's character. Please keep your character's knowledge to what they have been told/figured out, not simply everything that YOU know about other characters as the Roleplayer.
Do not control your roleplay partner's character(s)/power-playing.
If you are unsure about your plot, in backstory or in current RP, please message an admin to ensure it is OK to pursue it.
Feel free to suggest wide-scale plot ideas to the group you feel would enhance it!
Be sure all of those involved in the plot are comfortable with the decisions made regarding it.
If you have a large plot idea that will affect more than your character please DM one of the admins or ask us to review your idea from the 'plots channel' in the Discord server! We would like to approve these and maybe even see if they will help us later on for our big plots planned! Even if you are doing a plot with NPCs, it is still best to ask to make sure you don't plan something on a day we already have an event scheduled!
You will be given 1 (one) warning for each individual type of offense (depending on the severity of the offense).
Everyone has a total of 3 strikes before facing a ban.
When the temporary ban is up, the user is allowed back into the group and their strike count will reset.
Those who are permanently banned will never be allowed back into the group.
