A week summit of talks, networking, and activities between groups in Sweden, researching on Magnetism. 

The german network CRC/TRR 270 - Hysteresis design of magnetic materials for efficient energy conversion (HoMMage) is joining the activities.


The goal of this event is to further develop the Swedish consortium of magnetism research and brings together scientists to connect and collaborate within different subjects. Students, early-career physicists, and experienced professionals will benefit from this networking.

The facility consists of three flexible buildings, all of which offer a unique atmosphere where a shapely 1960s meets the stylish present. Conventum can offer the best conditions for arranging successful meetings, regardless of whether it is about conferences, congresses, fairs, dinners or entertainment events. It offer an event arena of 4,800 square meters, a unique congress hall with 1,470 seats and as many as 21 different meeting rooms. The facility is also located in the middle of central Örebro with walking distance to transport and hotels.

In our conference room Handskmakaren, you can book a meeting for up to 164 people in cinema seating. The charming mix of teak, copper and glass gives the room an airy and spacious impression.
