Vijayapura (formerly Bijapur) is a heritage city in the state of Karnataka, India. Vijayapura is renowned for its historical monuments of architectural importance built during the rule of the Adil Shahi dynasty (the 16th and 17th century) - the more well-known of which are Gol Gumbaz, Ibrahim Roza and Jamiya Masjid.
Visiting all the monuments in Vijayapura requires several days. This website is more of a travel diary than a traditional travel guide. Every time I visit Vijayapura I will update this site.

Bara Kaman (loc), Asar Mahal (loc), Sat Manzil (loc) and Jal Mahal (loc) (explore the upper storeys of Sat Manzil), Jod Gumbaz (loc), Fasri Kaman (loc) (explore the interior and the roof), Gagana Mahal (loc) and Anand Mahal (loc), Upli Burj (loc) (near Malik-e-Maidan Cannon), Saat Khabar (loc) (the last 200 meters of the path must be walked, no vehicles)
