There are several shrines and mantappas on Hemakuta Hill.
The Hemakuta temples, built in the Trikutachala style (three shrines with a common central hall), are often mistaken for Jain temples due to their architecture. However, most are dedicated to the worship of Shiva. Characterized by pyramid-like roofs, these temples feature plain outer walls adorned with a horizontal band of floral motifs carved around them.
