The location on Google Maps (in Oct 2025) is clearly wrong. From Sringarada Hebbagilu there is a path leading north. About 200 mts away is a fence with a open gate. After that is a steep uphill path. I did not have the stamina or courage to go up. The mantappa is clearly visible from down, See pics.
EDIT : On a recent visit I found the approach had been cleared of all plants/weeds. Steps cut into the rock lead to this mantappa. Even then I could only reach half way. Pics attached.
