For many of our interns this is their first paid work experience translating after learning about and practicing translation in University courses. They are excited for the experience. Please note the following:

• Interns are students and therefore will not be engaging directly with clients. The project coordinator will be reaching out to clients and facilitating communication. 

• Interns are not able to translate anything that has legal ramifications nor that contains personal identification information.

• Interns are beginning their work as translators and therefore may make mistakes in their translations. It is understood by clients that by submitting this form you may receive a translation that contains errors although it is always our goal to eliminate those. Interns and this program, Transformative Translation, are not responsible for any issues that may arise as a result of errors in translation.

• Clients understand that whatever they are submitting is something that will be used for the benefit of our communities. Translated materials should not be used to generate a profit.

• Submission of the google form does not guarantee that the client will receive a completed translation. After reviewing the project and determining the appropriateness for students, the program coordinator with reach out to the client with next steps. Some requests may be denied at the program coordinator's discretion due to timing, level of language, appropriateness, length, and other various reasons.
