This training document displays step by step instructions on how to process a site transfer using panatrack. This function is to be used when shipping finished good product to a 3PL. The site transfer using GP is listed on the Warehouse management section, coming up next.
All pickup request should be submitted through the freight request form 48 hours prior to the requested pickup date. Please allow up to 24 hours for confirmation of receipt. The forms submissions are recorded onto a google spreadsheet which is where you can check to see the status of your request. The spreadsheet also has several tabs which display the next available inbound appointments for all the Americold 3PL storage sites. The warehouse team is to use those tabs to indicate to the Logistics team if appointments are needed or should be cancelled.
The Intransit Log is a spreadsheet in which is used to monitor and record all transfers of finished goods being transferred from one site to another. This tool is crucial as it is needed to complete the final transfer from Intransit to the delivery destination.
