Population Model Part 2

Tribal Resilience & Indigenous Planning Virtual Workshop: Modeling Community Population

Join KSU Tribal TAB and Partners for the Modeling Community Population virtual workshop, the third of the 2021 Tribal Resilience & Indigenous Planning Virtual Workshop Series. This workshop will explore how to model community population using publicly available online tools and resources and why this is an integral part of planning for brownfields redevelopment. Through educational and hands-on activities participants will learn how to model the populations of their communities. Participants will also gain an understanding of how this may assist in understanding the needs of indigenous communities in areas such as health care, labor force, education, and housing and how this information can serve as a powerful tool in decision-making when considering brownfields redevelopment options and future needs of the community.
