Grace is a Long-serving and experienced Trainer in TVET and a Principal at a Technical Institution in Kenya.
A professional with high technical skills in Textiles demonstrated through an outstanding training and management record. She has contributed to developing textile training programmes, conducting training, assessments, and entrepreneurial growth in TVETs at Crafts and Diploma levels. Grace is a skilled, creative, and enthusiastic promoter of concepts and ideas, contributing to labor market analysis through surveys and sharing experiences at various International conferences.
She holds a Master of Arts in Design (Maseno University), a Bachelor of Science in Clothing, Textile and Interior Design (Egerton University), and a Diploma in Technical Education (Kenya Technical Trainers College). She is a Certified Master Craft trainer for Industry, a National Examiner with the National Industrial Training Authority and a Board member of the African Foundation for Quality E-Learning in TVET.
Grace is also a member of the National Technical Committee implementing Open Distance Education Learning in Kenyan TVET Institutions and the chairperson for the Western region.
She is a global TVET leader and 2019 Alumni of the UNESCO-UNEVOC TVET Leadership Programme, Bonn, Germany.
Nancy Oloo, Kenya School of TVET, Nairobi (Research and Projects)
Nancy is a trainer at Kenya School of TVET in Kenya at the National (Open Distance E-Learning (ODeL) center). She is an experienced Biology and agriculture trainer for 23 years and is known for exemplary performance in training, ODEL, research, curriculum development and review, gender mainstreaming, policy development, project development, and management. Furthermore, she has initiated and managed projects on youths and women, sourced for partnerships, and written technical and financial proposals. She chairs the Young Farmers Club in Kisumu County and serves as a branch committee member of the Agricultural Society of Kenya. She is also the Vice-Chair of the National Technical Committee for the Kenya National Qualifications Authority, and before this was contracted in the Standards and Quality Assurance Department and developed the Credit Accumulation Transfer System (CATS) guidelines.
Likewise, she has presented and published research papers regionally, nationally, and internationally. Not only that, but she also developed the Gender mainstreaming policy, the ODeL policy for the Institute, and agriculture training content for online learning. This year 2024, she received a 1st runners-up recognition award for exemplary performance for gender mainstreaming in TVET. In 2018, She was honored as one of the top 10 Kenyan women in creativity, innovation, and women’s change-maker. In addition to all these, she is a global TVET leader, through the UNESCO TVET Leadership Programme (2022) "Rethinking TVET systems and programmes to anticipate demand, adapt and take action for a just and green transition"; and hence a member of the Technical Working Group for Green Education Partnership. Furthermore, in 2023, participated in the Zero Carbon Africa Fellowship programme, as a volunteer country coordinator and ensured advocacy and environmental conservation activities were done across the country.

Anne is the Head of the Greening TVET and Climate Change Unit at the State Department for Technical, Vocational Education and Training. A Specialist in TVET education and training with experience of 30+ as a trainer, a manager, curriculum developer and assessor, a Competency-Based Education and Training implementer, and a Greening TVET champion. An advocate for mainstreaming of Greening of TVET, Climate Change Education, Safety and Health practices in Technical Vocational Education and training in Kenya.
She is organized, responsible and optimistic. A hard worker and determined to accomplish the goals set in any project. A fast learner with good adaptation skills. Possesses good team player skills with ability to inject creativity in problem-solving.
To build her capacity in Environmental Sustainability and Climate Change space, she completed the following courses:

She is a volunteer at Rotary International as an Environment Director at the Rotary Club of Thika.
