Currency exchange

Many independent stores and restaurants, especially outside of Taipei, only accept cash. It is a good idea to exchange for some cash before the conference.

You may exchange for Taiwanese dollars at the Taoyuan international airport. There are booths operated by the Bank of Taiwan at luggage collection as well as in the arrival halls.

Note that they only take cash, so make sure that you bring enough cash!
