1. Arrival and departure
We recommend international participants to fly to/from Taipei (either Taoyuan International Airport or Taipei Songshan Airport).
The train from Taipei to the starting point Hualien should cost around 600 TWD (~20 USD).
The high speed train from the finishing point Zuoying to Taipei should cost 1500 TWD (~50 USD).

For participants cycling
Bike rental
Road bike: 300 TWD per day, so a total of 1500 TWD (~50 USD) for 5 days.
Electric bike: 1500 TWD per day, so a total of 7500 TWD (~260 USD) for 5 days.
Cycling logistic costs
Cycling leaders: each cycling leader (can guide up to 10 cyclists) charges 3,300 TWD (~115 USD) for the entire 5-day tour.
Support vans: each support van (can accommodate up to 8 cyclists) costs 66000 TWD (~2260 USD) for the entire 5-day tour.
