Through my time at the Tuscola Technology Center, I've had the opportunity to create many products, from notepads to posters and shirts.
This job is a job of 100 t-shirts on a light heathered-grey fabric. There's three screens in all; One for the back with the sponsors and two for the front. I had made four different color samples to choose from before landing on the black the red combo.
Creating this shirt was a blast - Working with the event coordinator to create a fresh shirt to use for years to come was so exciting! I can't wait to see this design year after year.
This shirt will be printed shortly here soon for the 2nd annual TTC Car Cruise-In & Big Toy Show at the Tuscola Tech Center in Caro, MI on May 15th, 2024.
This mini-series contained ten postcards, each featuring an individual bird locally found in Michigan. Not all of the cards are shown.
Each of these cards was printed with the bird on front and the live area on the back. They were printed on cream cardstock but are intended for a more cold-pressed paper texture.
I submitted five of these postcards to an art competition in Lowell, MI. The showing is from late April to May 9th, 2024 and there is a possibility I win something from the event!
This large job this early November was an order of 73 black shirts for the Reese Community Theater. I had done the theater order the year before so everyone was enthusiastic to have me working on them again.
The two directors, choreographer, and handful of backstage crew members got "Director," "Choreographer," and "Staff" printed onto the sleeves once again.
This small order of about 18 shirts was for my marching band, as we had not had halftime shirts in about eight to ten years.
The job was a simple two-screen operation; one screen was a florescent orange and hot pink gradient while the other was a simple white.
Certain members got special thermoflex titles on the sleeves - Band Director, Colorguard Coach, Drum Major and Colorguard Captain.
This large job in the beginning of the school year was an order of 74 navy blue shirts for the Reese Community Theater.
Each shirt had glow-in-the-dark elements and was customized to each cast member: each signature glows in the dark.
Along with the custom signatures, the two directors and the backstage crew members got "Director" and "Staff" printed onto the sleeves, respectively.
This logo job included four logos in all: Two square photos, one in color and the other in black and another text-only logo also in color and black.
This skateboard is a replica of a skateboard seen in the Japanese original animation Sk8 the Infinity!!
Using a seven-ply maple board, the TTC's Construction class cut the board to the correct shape. After that, the Automotive Body Repair painted the bottom a deep, ashy grey and sealed both sides of the wood.
Once that was done, I applied the bright canary yellow image of a barracuda to the bottom of the board and the stylized word "Sole" to the top. Then the clear griptape was installed. Once holes have been punched through the griptape, the trucks were installed, and the build was finished.
This skateboard was entered into MITES 2023 under the Open - Transportation Vehicle catagory: winning 1st in Regionals and placing in States.
