While at the Tuscola Technology Center and beyond, I've had the chance to take pictures in my free time as well as for a very demanding job at the TTC. I have been hired as a photographer for Saginaw Valley State University's newspaper The Valley Vanguard as well - some of my best photos are included here, too!
Recently, I took photos of SVSU flute students Andrea Heaton and Jordan Rose in their concert together. This was the second concert with my new 55-250 lens and the focus came out beautifully.
I had a great time taking photos of this concert!
I got to take photos of SVSU piano student Anthony Feimster Jr. during his senior concert. It was one of the best solo concerts I ever got to see and his encore was amazing!
Some of my all-time favorite photos I've ever taken are from this concert, including the photo to the right of this text.
I got the opportunity to get some beautiful photos of the SVSU Jazz Combo at the Rhea Miller Theater on campus.
The stage gives off the most amazing lighting for some great photos of the players such as Bailey Cottrell on tenor saxophone and Gabe Keeley on electric bass. Other members included Brendan Slocum and Joe Paten on drum kit & vibraphone and Anthony Feimster Jr. on piano.
I work at SVSU's Valley Vanguard as a photographer so I got to take photos of U.S Senator Bernie Sanders when he visited my college. These are the highlights. More can be see in the Valley Vanguard Volume 58-Issue 2 featuring the story!
These Northern Lights photos were actually taken after an awesome final day of senior year. We ended up going to a property a couple miles outside my hometown where very little light pollution was present, giving me these beautiful photos of the green and purples.
I had the amazing opportunity to take easily one of the biggest jobs I've ever been assigned at the Tuscola Technology Center - I was tasked with re-creating the district brochure that is handed out to potential students at recruiting trips to local high schools. I had created the graphics, typeset the information, and took all the photos required for the brochure. Here, I've included some of my favorites.
