Experience

A few summers ago I had the opportunity to work as a camp counsellor. While working at this day camp I had to: 

• Create activities that were interesting and engaging

• Be a positive role model 

• Create an environment that was open and inclusive

In 2022 I worked as a Special Education Technician in my hometown. While working in this position I was required to:

• Apply intervention techniques (in terms of learning and behaviour)

• Provide support to the teacher

• Substitue when required.

This was a very eye opening opportunity for me as I learned about different students needs and how I could implement differentiated learning into my own classroom.
