Region 05-3 Units

Sea Cadet units fall under the direction of Regional Directors. Each Regional Director supports the operations and maintenance of 5-8 units.

We are proud to introduce the dedicated Sea Cadet units that make up Region 05‑3. Each unit brings its own legacy of service, leadership, and commitment to the Sea Cadet mission of Building Leaders of Character.

Top Hatters Squadron - Naval Station Norfolk, VA - Established in 1964

America Division - Navy Operational Support Center, North Chesterfield, VA - Established in 1969

Corsairs Squadron - American Legion Post 238, Hughesville, MD - Established in 1987

Pentagon Division - Naval Support Facility Dahlgren, VA - Established in 2001

Training Ship Meadowbrook - Academy of International Studies at Rosemont Middle School, Norfolk, VA - (must be a Norfolk School District Student) Established 2003

Seahawk Squadron - Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia Beach, VA. (TBD) Established November 2025
