This year's Tomlinson MS Drama Club Musical is… INTO THE WOODS Jr.

Based on the Grimm Brothers’ most popular folktales, Stephen Sondheim’s award winning Into the Woods is a reimagining of what can happen when beloved fairytale characters are thrown together in increasingly dramatic and humorous ways. The mix-matched group of reluctant fairy tale characters learn the meaning of empathy and perseverance as they pursue their hopes and dreams in a world that is sometimes as twisted as the forrest.

Always a crowd pleaser, Into the Woods, Jr. provides students with a variety of featured roles. The TMS Drama Club production will be an ensemble piece empoloying non-traditional casting where most of the players are on stage the entire time and participate by moving sets and props, being forest creatures, etc. in this magical world. This show provides many opportunities for students to shine and develop their skills as performers. Performances are April 4, 5, 6.
