ACTOR INFORMATION

Rehearsals are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (and occasionally Wednesday) from 3-5:30pm.
Extended Rehearsals, 3-6pm begin March 1st. Not every student will have rehearsal every day and some days, students will be called for only a piece of the rehearsal. Once a student is done they may go home.

Weekly Rehearsal Posting. An email will be posted on Sunday afternoons detailing who will be called and what days and times that week you are required to be there. These postings also will include a lot of other information and updates about the production.

Additional scheduled rehearsals. Our rehearsal schedule this year is shorter by 2 weeks due calendar holidays etc. Please note the following additional rehearsal have been added to accommodate for the no school Holidays. You may not necessarily be called to part or all of these rehearsals.
- - Wednesday February 10, 3-5:30
  - Wednesday February 17, 3-5:30
  - Wednesday February 24, 3-5:30 (Costume Parade)

Physical Changes & Hair - Do not cut or dye your hair or make other physical changes to yourself during the rehearsal schedule UNLESS you have consulted with the director first, please. Long hair is part of the visual look of this production. Please DO NOT cut your hair!

Shoes & Clothing - SHOES: Boots, slippers, open toe shoes, Uggs, heels, Crocs, flip flops, sandals etc. are not allowed - they are dangerous to dance or move in. Please bring sneakers or dance shoes to change into. CLOTHING: Students should wear comfortable clothing that allows them to move or dance freely while not being revealing or embarrassing.

Come Prepared to rehearsals by always bringing your script/score, pencil/writing utensil, dance/movement shoes and water bottle, etc. Write your name LARGE in INK on your script it is yours to keep. (Lost script fee is $20 for a replacement script). Rehearsal notes can only be taken with pen/pencil and paper - no notes on phones. If you want to look at your notes on your phone talk a photo of your written notes.

Costumes & Makeup - Parents are responsible for providing appropriate footwear and undergarments (sometimes we can provide shoes); please check with the director before purchasing. You may also be asked to provide an article of clothing they could wear in the production. You may be asked to provide some makeup - due to health reasons, certain makeup can not be shared.

Practicing outside of rehearsal - is a VERY IMPORTANT PART of being in a production. PLEASE make sure students are practicing their music, lines, blocking and dancing as part of their daily homework.

STRIKE / POST MORTUM March 22, 3-6 (MANDATORY) All Actors & Crew must be in attendance. Strike is a shared responsibility between Actors and Crew. Special production gifts will only be given to students who are in attendance and participate in STRIKE. Students who are not in attendance for STRIKE will not be allowed to audition the following year.

PARENT PARTICIPATION You are vital to what we do. In order for your child’s production to be a success we all parents are expected to help. Parent Meeting DATE is TUESDAY JANUARY 5 6-6:45pm This is mandatory for all PARENTS and their STUDENTS. At least one parent from each family MUST attend. This short meeting is important so that we can meet you, tell you about program expectations for you and your student and for you to ask questions.
In addition to committee work, we ask that you work during at least 1 of the 3 full performances. Show night jobs include: Ushering, make-up, ticket sales, concessions, (some can watch the show the night they work) and backstage/security and costume monitors (cannot watch the performance the night they volunteer but have a very unique experience). Your help is appreciated and necessary in order for the production to happen. Parents who work 15 or more hours in addition to working a performance will be allowed to purchase up to 8 tickets before the remainder of the cast and before being open to the public.

PERFORMANCES ALL CAST MEMBERS MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE AT ALL TIMES DURING ALL PERFORMANCES! NO EXCUSES ACCEPTED! (Call time for ACTORS is usually 2 hrs before curtain (performance) - may be earlier for actors with special make-up or costume requirements, etc)
Performances Dates: Fri, March 19, 7:00pm curtain, Sat, March 20, 2pm, Sun, March 21, 2pm
Please note the NEW time for Sat March 21 - this is a 2pm Matinee
TECH / DRESS REH WEEK ALL CAST MEMBERS MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE AT ALL TIMES DURING TECH / DRESS REHEARSAL WEEK! NO EXCUSES ACCEPTED! Tech/Dress Week is: Mon-Thurs March 15-18 from 5-8pm.
