We fully embrace emerging artists looking for a home. We aren't a commercial studio, but if you are looking to build your practice and grow without the commitment and formality of a large studio shop, we might be a great fit for you.
We also fully embrace the teaching aspect of our shop. We work to develop and onboard new entrants, hobbyists, and interested parties into the glass world. Teaching and engaging are key missions.

Glass studios aren't as common as you may thing. TAGG is a home to experienced glass professionals, emerging glass artists, and new entrants in the blown glass art that all have one thing in common - the interest and love of glass art and desire to learn and give back to the community all that this art has to offer.
Mini classes
Mini classes
For those just starting out or wanting to get an idea of what this craft holds, we offer mini-classes during our Second Saturday events.
For these mini-classes, we'll do a quick demo, show you how to make a seasonal piece, and then you follow with session to make the same piece.
Not as intensive as an immersive course or joining membership, but allows you to get a feel for the art before taking too deep a dive.
Date night, girls night out, couples night, or team building
Date night, girls night out, couples night, or team building
This small group session is ideal for getting a little more intimate with the craft of glass blowing. This session allows each member to see the demonstrations, make a few items, and then get pracitcal experience at trying, failing, and learning the details around this craft. So, so much better than a typical "night out", this experience allows you to immerse yourself in the experience of making glass, working in a hot shop, and creating something from scratch, even with no prior experience.
A must do activity. Hands-on and active. If you are considering getting into this craft more earnestly or just want an enjoyable night out pursuing something active and different, this is a great experience.
