民俗信仰論
Folk religion studies

生活世界のなかでは、日常の延長として超越的な存在につながる回路がさりげないかたちで配置されている。ここでとりあげる民俗信仰という視点は主として、日本の民俗学の蓄積に基づき、その組み立てとはたらきをとらえるためのものである。その実態や歴史的な展開、機能的な特徴に着目し、現代における意義を考えてみたい。

The world of ordinary life is threaded with paths leading to the realm of the transcendental, which are often hidden in plain sight. To uncover these passages from the mundane to the mysterious and explain their structure and functions is the main goal of folk religion studies, the field that builds upon rich findings and methodology of Japanese folkloristics. This course discusses the current state of folk religion studies, their historical development and functional characteristics in order to determine the significance and purpose the field has today.

日常世界における民俗信仰の表出をとらえ、その位相を多角的にとらえることができる姿勢を身につける。

Students will learn to recognize traces of folk religion in everyday life and explore them from multiple angles.

講義の形式で、具体的な史資料を紹介しながらおこなう。適宜、画像・映像などを通して民俗信仰の具体的な姿にふれる。

授業への参加度（50％）・レポート（50％）

教科書は特に使用しない。参考文献を講義中に提示するので、なるべく自分で確かめること。

授業中に指示された文献に出来る限りアプローチする。また自己の日常を凝視し、民俗信仰としてとらえることができるような事象の発見と定位とを意識する。
想定学修時間：１回の授業につき予復習ともに２時間以上が必要。
