Purchased used 2015 mustang engine with 40,000 miles. Looks really good. Need to save money to get the oil pan, clutch, alternator, and transmission before I can mount.
So... I decided to get going on the fitting of the body.
Began by installing the back tub. Not too hard. I messed up and should have not installed the panel behind the seats. It won't allow the body to fit seated! Argg!
Cut out the panel and peeled back my carpet and it seems good now. I will remount after the body is on for good. Live and learn. Next comes the front clip, rear glass, and the doors. Eventually wheels would be nice too.
Fit the hood. It really helped to ratchet strap the hinges towards the body to pull things into alignment at the pontoons. Then material was removed slowly until it dropped into place.
Alignment dowels were put on pontoons after readjusting the hood. Now I have holes to fill. No worries. Measure 5 times and drill at least two times is my motto. Then hood latches were fit.
Doors were fit without too much trouble. Lots of dust! Hatch glass is in.
Made door sill plates out of aluminium.
Here is a video of where I am at. Time to start playing with windows and finishing the door cards.

Decided that windows would not be worth it for how I will use this car. That will simplify things some. When the body comes off I need to put in headliner and undercoat the areas under the tub and hood that need a nicer finish. After this it will go back on and real body work can begin to prepare for paint!
