FY 2025

September 2025: Professor Toda gave an invited talk titled “Generating Exercise Promotion Messages Using Large Language Models” at the IEICE SIG-LOIS.
July 2025: Mr. Takuya Okada (former B4 student) was awarded the LOIS Young Researcher Award at the IEICE LOIS Technical Committee.
July 2025: Dr. Takeshi Kurashima (Distinguished Researcher, NTT Human Informatics Laboratories) has been appointed as a Visiting Associate Professor in our laboratory.
June 2025: The research presentation by Ms. Manami Sanematsu (former B4) at DEIM2025 received the Outstanding Interactive Presentation Award.
May 2025: We organized a session on Behavioral Data Science at JSAI2025, where two research presentations from our lab were also delivered.
April 2025: The new academic year has begun, and two new members (M1s) have joined our group.

March 2025: One student completed the master's program, six students graduated from the undergraduate program, and Takuya Okada received the Best Undergraduate Thesis Award.
March 2025: Ryuichi Sudo (M1), Tomoki Kawabata (M1), Tetsuro Takahashi (M1), and Manami Sanematsu (B4) each received the Student Presentation Award at DEIM2025!
February 2025: Ten students will present at DEIM2025, held from February 27 to March 4.
February 2025: One paper has been accepted for a Special Session at PAKDD2025, which will be held in Sydney, Australia, in June.
November 2024: Takuya Okada (B4) presented at the IEICE SIG-LOIS.
October 2024: A team consisting of Kohei Iihama (M1), Ryuichi Sudo (M1), Yota Kurisuno (B4), and Tomoki Kawabata (M1) won a prize at the NEC Analytics Challenge Cup 2024.
September 2024: Six undergraduate students joined our lab!
August 2024: Two papers have been accepted for presentation at DEXA 2024, which will be held at the University of Naples Federico II in Naples, Italy.
April 2024: At the start of the academic year, we welcomed four new members: two external M1s and two from within (M1 and B4).

March 2024: Three undergraduate students have graduated, and Tomoki Kawabata has been awarded the Excellent Thesis Award. All three will continue in our laboratory as students in the Master's program starting in April.
March 2024: Kohei Iihama (B4) and Tomonori Kawabata (B4) won the Student Presentation Award at DEIM2024, respectively!
