Weather

Since the update, Total Launcher now requires the purchase of the key to show the weather icon. (his doing, not mine). I would recommend getting the key, as he has done amazing work on this launcher, without much limits on the free version thus far, which is also why it doesn't make much money for him. I know the guy and he's super nice and talented. He deserves the money and 5 stars. BTW, the Total Launcher developer couldn't help having to make the weather a paid feature due to the provider changing the policy for free accounts limiting them to 200 requests. Basically he had to do it, or he would be losing money for providing the launcher.  Totally worth it in my opinion. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details…

*The weather provider built into Total Launcher is pretty good, but it doesn't have a web page, and might show the low and high temperatures the same as the current temperature if the area is lesser supported and doesn't get the data for that.

That being said, there is a way to get it for FREE.

Use my free Beautiful Widgets theme.

Delete the weather image (maybe create a new page and test there first, though), and create a Beautiful Widget with just a single weather image. *Set the transparent background for the New Trek version per the free method written below (skip for Total Interface) and set it in the place of the old weather image. It looks great, it's free, and a better weather service. This has the bonus of being able to set a 4-day forecast in the widget panel of the New Trek or Total Interface TL themes, so I'd get it to do that, even if you get the Total Launcher key.

Here's the info for the Beautiful Widgets in case you want them:

You need to install Beautiful Widgets https://play.google.com/store/apps/details… Then create a weather widget and search for my themes in their built in downloader for 'Trek' or 'LCARS' (weather theme, not clock).

How to get:

Long press the home screen and choose to add a widget. Choose the 'Beautiful Widget' you like.

In the menu you need to click 'Appearance', 'Weather Theme' and at the bottom 'Get Themes' in the upper right corner click the search icon and type 'Trek' or 'LCARS' *You will need the Transparent version of the clock skin for New Trek, but can skip this for Total Interface (search 'Trek' in clock theme, not weather) to set as the background to hide the background without buying the pro version.

The Accuweather site has nothing to do with the weather on there. The Total Launcher weather service provider doesn't have a web page, so I set the launch action for tapping the weather to open AccuWeather's web page as it has good info, can read your location, and is translated into many languages. You can change it to any weather app or bookmark you like. To do a bookmark, you should use 'Power Shortcuts' which is also available from the developer of Total Launcher: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ss.powershortcuts

To change from Celsius to Fahrenheit and feet to meters per second, go to Total Launcher's: Options ->Behavior -> 'Use US customary units'. ☑
