Louise Ogilvy

About the Artist

Louise is an artist living and working in the Cairngorm National Park. Her impressionistic style captures the fleeting beauty whether creature or the environment,  a moment of colour, light, and interaction. 

Louise has been drawing for as long as she can remember, with a passion for both creating and wildlife serving as constant sources of inspiration throughout her life. 

Her artistic journey led her to formal studies in art, eventually specialising in architectural stained glass—a beautiful and traditional craft that has now become a tangible part of her future and continues to carry the lessons learnt with an array of mediums on paper, board, canvas, working with light and how that informs the chiaroscuro.
