Tiffin City Schools  Facility Master Planning Project 

In order to prepare for the future of the Tiffin City Schools, the district has embarked on a facilities master plan project to understand long-term facility needs. These efforts have culminated in a plan that provides for the entire community.

Throughout 2023, Tiffin City Schools has been hosting the Superintendent's Advisory Committee, which is made up of a cross-section of over 80 community members and includes educators, administrators, city officials, business leaders, students, and parents. Their goal was to evaluate the existing buildings, improvement costs, site viability, educational adequacy, and new construction models to drive the creation of a district-wide master plan. This work resulted in an agreed-upon preferred master plan by the committee. 

After meeting for months, the committee concluded that the following master plan best satisfies the facility needs in the district:

The next phase of the master planning process includes soliciting community feedback on the proposed plan and incorporating that into the overall planning process. We have several engagements planned to solicit feedback from the community to better understand if this is the right plan for Tiffin City Schools.
