Position Paper Turn In - October 13th 2026 @ 11:59 PM

Position Paper Requirements:

• Times New Roman, 12-point font

• State your Name, School, Committee, and Country/Character in the top-right of your paper

• Bold your title with topic, centered above the text of the paper

• One page length (not including citations)

Recommended format:

• Paragraph 1: Background on the Topic

• Paragraph 2: Your Country or Character’s Position

• Paragraph 3: Plans and Solutions

Works Cited page:

• All sources should be cited in MLA format.

• About eight sources are suggested.

• Wikipedia and similar websites cannot be used as a source.

THSMUNC does not offer a Best Position Paper Award. However, position papersare required for all delegates wishing to receive delegate awards.
