Throughout the committee, delegates, representing countries in the African Union, tackle the conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, one of the most complex and urgent crises in the world. While addressing challenges like the increase in violence by armed groups, political instability, and humanitarian needs, delegates must think critically to come up with solutions that will address the multifaceted issues that are at the heart of the conflict. As tensions escalate and the stakes intensify, delegates must act promptly to balance competing international interests and work together to forge a path toward peace, stability, and prosperity in the region. Whether you are keen on international diplomacy, want to craft solutions that do good for the region, or simply want to try something new, this committee promises an insightful and impactful experience.
