Learning Vocabulary

It is important to note that you will be expected to know much of this vocabulary - but not immediately. Most Aikido vocabulary is learned on the mat, through practice, but this isn't enough on its own. Glance through the terms on the "IMPORTANT AIKIDO TERMS" spreadsheet a few times a week at first. Try flashcards for the difficult terms.

Below the "Important" section is a "GOOD TO KNOW" section. This section is vocabulary you will EVENTUALLY need, but not necessarily immediately. Give these a look-over in your free time to expand upon the vocabulary you are already learning.
