Mr. Kelly Kemp from LA DOTD gave students a talk about the foundation design of the new Ouachita River Bridge at Harrisonburg, LA.

Mr. Gavin Gautreau provided a tour of the Louisiana Transportation Research Center (LTRC). Students saw amazing lab-testing equipment in the Geotechnical, Pavement, and Concrete Research Labs. Thank you, Gavin!
April 22, 2021, CE 4330 Geotech Design Field Trip!
We visited the Louisiana Pavement Research Facility, which contains the Accelerated Loading Facility (ALF) and ATLaS 30. We were also lucky to see a CPT demonstration presented by the Geotech group of LA DOTD.
