Student Qualifications: Self-motivated and talented students (especially master students) are highly encouraged to apply. Applicants will preferably have a strong background in Geotechnical Engineering. Students with previous experimental and modeling research experience in Soil Mechanics, Geoenvironmental Engineering, Reliability and Statistics, and Soil-Structure Interaction will be considered as strong candidates. Under-representative and female students are highly encouraged to apply!

Research Study Area: Bio-Mediated and Bio-Inspired Geotechnics and Soil-Structure Interaction

Funding will be provided initially for 12 months and will be renewed each year based on the student’s annual performance. The selected students will receive full tuition support and stipend to cover living expenses.
