Thomas Kane: President of FIDF Chicago

Outside of his career, Thomas Kane is passionate about giving back and serves as President of Friends of the IDF. Thomas Kane helps to advocate and raise money for the men and women serving in the Israel Defense Forces.

Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) is a non-political, non-military organization that provides for the well-being of the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), veterans, and their family members. Where the Israeli government is responsible for training IDF soldiers and providing them with the necessary tools for their service, the FIDF is committed to providing these soldiers with love, support, and care to ease the burden they carry on behalf of the Jewish community worldwide.

Thomas has personally been involved with the organization as President of the Central Region for four years and an executive committee member for 6. Specifically, he sponsors 13 current and former soldiers who are in need of four year scholarships to universities in Israel.

He is also involved with a variety of other civic and charitable organizations outside of his work that are focused on education and helping those most in need.
