As I help the club participants to overcome their fear of language barriers, I got the opportunity to learn about effective communication and public speaking as well as customer service. After contributing to this volunteer role for more than one year, I was able to communicate with others effectively and comfortably in a second language while diving deeper into public relations activities. In this volunteer role, I came to realize that underprivileged youths who suffer from the inefficient education system have a strong desire to improve and I was able to participate in a role in promoting inclusivity in education.
