Its reputation goes beyond its world-renowned advancement for worldwide social development. These include remarkable highlights in the field such as the discovery of carbon dioxide, chloroform anaesthesia, the Theory of Evolution by Charles Darwin, the cloning of ‘Dolly’ the sheep and the discovery of Higgs boson amongst others, with a striking impact in the social development in the UK and globally. This sets the perfect scenario for our seminar, where we welcome researchers across the UK to share their experiences and together think about the role of Health, Environment and Technology for social development and what the key challenges to face in the future are.
