So we went to Atlanta for a bit of a trip. A family member was getting married so we decided to extend the trip and stay awhile. What we didn't know what the FIFA game was also starting at the same time as our visit. So much traffic and so many people.
Guys, real talk, I hate DC Pride. You almost die from a human stampede one time at DuPont circle and it just puts you off a whole event. Especially as I get older, I really enjoying going to more local events.
Another month gone so quickly. I can't believe we are already half way through the year.
So we had some friends visiting the Baltimore area to do some house hunting and they invited us to go to the art museum with them! This was a little hit of a spontaneous visit but I just wanted to share some of the art that I saw there and really enjoyed.
Recently, I wanted to make a sticker with my URL on it to give out to people at concerts and conventions. I had gone to a concert and someone had asked for my social media contact. As I am trying to distance myself from all of that, I ended up just texting them the URL. I was hopefully that it would lead to a connection, maybe a new friendship. It didn't but thats not really a big deal. .
Before I knew anything was even happening, two months flew by! Goodness. There have been a lot of developments in my personal life involving my job and it has kept me very busy. My mind has just been so occupied with planning and making sure lots of paper work gets done. . .
Honestly, I think mentally, I was recovering from all the world events of January. I felt pretty helpless, overwhelmed, pessimistic. Tried really hard to just get through it. I think the fact that I only read One Book in February really reflex that. . . .
ZOO TRIP! I We took the metro in. Saw lots of stickers and flyers reflecting the political climate, which was interesting since we don't really see a lot of this in the DC-Suburbs. . .
Some weeks ago I was at a friends house and they mentioned wanting to go to this revolving sushi place that they really wanted to show me and my wife. I ended up suggesting we could go there for my birthday. . . .
