🌸 March & April Double Wrap-Up! 🌸

Where the heck have I been!?

Before I knew anything was even happening, two months flew by! Goodness. There have been a lot of developments in my personal life involving my job and it has kept me very busy. My mind has just been so occupied with planning and making sure lots of paper work gets done.

I was still around, adding things to the blog and reading. Speaking of, I didn't post it on the RSS feed but I read SO MANY Goosebumps books! Fourteen in total. You should definitely check out the Goosebumps page to see the progress.

I have also been playing some pokemon and animal crossing. Coloring and just relaxing while I try to get ready for some big changes coming down the road.

The beginning of the year was a really rough start, but I am honestly feeling really good. I'm feeling content and optimistic.

Blog Updates!

Reading Blog!

• The Reading blog now features "The Librarian". This is a cute interactive search engine that you can use to search the TBR, read books, and DNF books.

• The Goosebumps and Sailor moon book series pages have been updated to a new grid system with Lazy Loading. I'm working on switching all the media log pages that are image heavy to this system eventually.

Movie & TV Blog!

• The cinema is open! A new interactive feature where you can click on a "now showing" title and it will start playing a trailer or clip from that program. As well, Sherb will give you my review of that piece of media! I worked really hard on this feature and I am super proud of it.

• The currently watching section of the blog will show lists of shows that i am watching but have not finished yet. You can click on each image to take you to an episode tracking page! Right now the only thing that is up is the Princess Knight tracker. 

• If this area looks a little empty, honestly its probably because I am just not as into anime and tv shows as I used to. Right now reading really is getting the VIP treatment lol

Locker Shrines!

• Locker shrines has been updated to include Sherb's Shrine! The Shrine has a few interactive pieces that I am pretty proud of. A ton of work went into the emote gallery and i even learned how to do a universal counter for the shrine!

• Usagi's Shrine has a page up but its still a work in progress. Hopefully will come soon.

Whats next?

• I would really like to tackle revamping the video game blog. I still need to brain storm how I want to present this data and how to best make it interactive/fun.

• I have some ideas for a Project Hail Mary Shrine which would involve an iframe widget that would pull from a database and could be "scroll-able." It would almost be like a personal feed or dashboard. I want to include some of my favorite PHM edits and videos that I have found.

• Still need to update the Animorphs page to the grid system, as well as work more on the reading review backlog.

Events from the Month

March 6-8: Me, wife and some friends went to Luray for my wife's birthday. I have been there before so I didn't take a lot of pictures (also some of the friends that were with us are more private about having their photos taken, which I respect). But I had a nice time! We rented a really beautiful cabin in the mountains. Looking at the stars while having a warm cup of coffee was honestly so good for my soul. We also did some used book store shopping which I really enjoyed.

March 12: BBNO$ Concert! This concert was all joy for me! You can read and see more pictures over here: LINK

April 2-3: This was Spring Break! Which meant my teacher friend was off all week. We went on a big adventure together.

Next Month

Thats really it! I can't go into too much detail about what else happened cause its for work and its also private. Just know I'm busy and excited!

Next month, TWO CONCERTS!!! AshniKko and MIKU! Seeing some family, have some dinners planned. Beginning of the month is going to be crazy busy but its still good.
