I feel for you

I feel a lot

I know this is hard.

There is no explanation - 

Why were you dealt this card?

This hand is tough, but you can’t fold.

So I will help you bear the load.

I pray for you

I pray a lot

This often feels inadequate - 

Is it enough,

Compared to the way life has been tough?

My prayers are earnest, I will not rest.

I’ll be here until you pass this test.

I’m here for you

I’m here a lot

Nothing will make me leave this spot.

I don’t always have answers.

I don’t always know what to do.

But here is what I am certain of,

I will always be here for you.
