About the Author

Originally from Jamaica, Janice Wright earned her Bachelor of Education in Educational Administration from the University of the West Indies before relocating to the United States with her family in 2016. An educator at heart, she has taught at both the elementary and middle school levels. She holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology, along with certifications in gifted and special needs education. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD.) degree in Leadership.

Janice is also an accomplished writer whose work spans poetry, a bilingual play, and a fictional novel currently in progress, rooted in her childhood experiences and the life lessons they have shaped. In 2024, she published Daily Affirmations Journal, inspired by her 25 Days of Christmas affirmation videos on her YouTube Channel. Its sequel, Daily Affirmations From The Bible, which grounds daily affirmations in God’s Word, encouraging faith, reflection, and spiritual growth, was published in 2025.

Beyond writing and education, Janice is a skilled quilter/crafter, a devoted mother to Jada-Marie and Justin, and a loving wife to her husband, Marlon. She looks forward to continuing her creative journey and inspiring others through faith, education, and storytelling.
