The image displayed on the title page was created by Nina Paley for the movie "Sita Sings the Blues". It comes from Fred Miller's Flickr page. It demonstrates Sita's idea to drop her jewelry when she is captured by Ravana in order to leave a trail for Rama to find her. This demonstrates one of her many strong character traits. I especially like that Sita is the main focus of this picture. I also like that the look on her face is strong, clever, and fearless.
