The end of this tale is that I really learned A LOT. The difference in learning systems between Indonesia and the Philippines made me realize how important it is to involve students in every learning activity. Students will definitely feel that they are important and can finally make meaning of learning. I also realized that students in the Philippines really appreciate the hard work of teachers. I was very touched when they were happy with the learning that day and thanked me for teaching them. I will definitely remember you, 8th-grade Pedro Bukaneg❤️
For almost a month, there are certainly some challenges that I have faced. The first 3 days, I was still struggling to speak English all day. But it was precisely this program that made my speaking skills improve. Besides that, I also had a little difficulty because I had to teach history while I was majoring in economics. But I got through it easily because, besides I'm a smart person—HAHAHA just kidding— there were so many people who helped me from making lessons to my final demo.
I only have one suggestion or it's like a wish for this program. Please extend the program, not just 1 month. It's not enough! I still want to stay in Vigan longer huhuhu...
Overall, I am very grateful to be a part of SEA Teacher Batch 10!
