Introduction
This project challenged us to research a specific country or place in the world while using proper researching tools and tactics. After researching we were to display our research in a properly organized word document. After doing this, we were then to collaborate with another person in the class in order to create an effective presentation that adequately showcased the similarities and differences of our two difference places. The location I chose was Seoul, which is the Capitol of South Korea. I chose this country because my group partner and I wanted to compare both North and South Korea and note any of the similarities or differences between these 2 places that are very close in proximity.
Artifact
Here you will see the presentation that my group partner and I created on the similarities/differences of Pyongyang, North Korea and Seoul, South Korea.
Lessons Learned
This project challenged my partner and I to present the information we found from our sources in an effective but creative way. The approach we took in order to do so was to go slide by slide (or topic by topic) looking for any specific similarities/differences that stuck out to us and using those to base what each slide would look like or what information it would contain. Overall we collaborated very well and had many similar ideas when it came to how our research would be presented. Technology overall was a very helpful tool for this project because it allowed us to share a presentation with each other and collaborate/work on it at the same time. This project taught us not only about the different ways technology is used in other locations around the world, but it allowed us to further explore the ways we can use technology to assist us in creating effective and organized documents (& in this case for educational purposes).
