Reading and writing are crucial for communicating in our day-to-day life. We have different experiences and have learned different lessons making everyone have a different view on these subjects. In this blog post, we showcase and explain in depth what is our view towards reading and writing as well as what do we think about them now.
The narrative talked about my experience with reading and writing. The teacher that I wrote about in the story was my fifth-grade teacher Ms. Luna. I remember Ms. Luna quite vividly with her white and gray hair and the many dad jokes that Ms. Luna would say during class. I also talk about the book that made me get back into reading. The title of the book is Red, White, and Royal Blue a is written by Casey McQuiston.

The personal narrative is about an experience you had with English, good or bad. My experience was unfortunately bad, where in 4th grade in summer break I would be at home waking up everyday very early and forced to learn more English and read more so I can know more about the actual language and be prepared for the next year. Not only that my mom was very negative towards this when she would speak to my father she would say negative comments say "I give up with her" "she's not trying" "she's hopeless" etc.. Thankfully my father didn't loose his patience and helped me , however those words my mom said where stuck in my mind and made it even harder to actually learn how to read and learn English.
For my narrative I decided to talk about my early elemtery school years. through out 1-3 grade i didn't know how to speak any english. Through out that time period it always felt like I was set up for failure because i was always at a bit of a disadvantage and always took mush longer then everyone else to read so my parents would help me at home and it was working, it was a bit slow but eventually, I caught up near the end of the year and I've improved a lot since then.
My personal narrative was about my experience i had at my elementary school with my English teacher and how it affected my connection to literacy and how i feel about English classes. The experience i wrote about is with a bad teacher who i made clear in my essay how bad she is in very descriptive detail throughout the text.
