Tadatomo has taught at public, charter and private middle and high schools throughout the San Francisco Bay Area for 8 years. His students describe him as passionate about learning, decisive, dynamic, versatile, fun-loving, hands-on, and empathetic.
During the COVID lockdown, Tadatomo decided to pivot from the traditional classroom setting and instead focus on creating hands-on STEM curriculum that integrates math and science lessons designed specifically for middle school students, traditionally an underdeveloped area of instruction. His curriculum includes catapults, go carts, VR programming in Unreal Engine and more. Tadatomo draws on his hobbyist experience as a carpenter, motorcycle racer, game developer, backyard chemist, martial artist and dancer to inspire creative and diverse lessons that appeal to a broad range of students.
